Jo Walton

Aberdare, Gales (Reino Unido), 1964.

Nacida en Gales y residente en Montreal, Canadá, Jo Walton es escritora de fantasía y de ciencia ficción. Sus historias se centran en el folclore artúrico, la mitología galesa, la historia alternativa o en utopías platónicas, entre otros temas.

Ganó el Premio Mundial de fantasía por Garras y colmillos en 2003 y los premios Nebula y Hugo por Entre extraños en 2012, así como el James Tiptree Jr. por My Real Children. También fue premiada con el John W. Campbell a mejor autora novel en 2002.

Además de escribir novelas, también reseña libros clásicos de ciencia ficción en Tor.com y escribe poesía.
