Lauren Beukes

Johannesburgo, República de Sudáfrica, 1976.

Además de novelista y relatista, Beukes también escribe cómics y guiones para televisión. Realizó el máster de Escritura Creativa en la Universidad de Ciudad del Cabo y trabaja como periodista.

En sus obras mezcla géneros y examina los puntos de fractura de la sociedad y quiénes somos en realidad. Ha sido finalista de los premios Arthur C. Clarke, Ignotus, World Fantasy, Tiptree, Hugo y Locus.
