Martha Wells
Fort Worth (Texas), Estados Unidos, 1964.
Martha Wells escribe novelas y relatos de ciencia ficción y fantasía, además de ensayos y novelas relacionadas con diferentes universos.
Se graduó en una licenciatura de Antropología por la Universidad de Texas A&M y, desde su paso por la universidad, ha estado involucrada en el fandom estadounidense. Ha impartido y asistido a numerosos talleres de escritura en EE. UU., sobre todo en convenciones de género. A lo largo de 2018, Wells ha formado parte como jefa del equipo de redacción e historia de la expansión Dominaria de Magic: The Gathering.
Fue galardonada en ese mismo año con los premios Nebula y Locus por el primer volumen de The Murderbot Diaries, All Systems Red.
