Sarah Pinsker es una cantautora y laureada escritora, con más de cincuenta obras de ficción corta a sus espaldas que han sido nominadas a los premios Nebula, Hugo, Locus y el World Fantasy Award.
Su novela corta In Joy, Knowing the Abyss Behind ganó el Premio Sturgeon en 2014; otra novelette, Our Lady of the Open Road, ganó el Premio Nebula en 2016; y en 2020 ha ganado el Premio Philip K. Dick con su colección de relatos Sooner or Later Everything Falls Into the Sea.
Su primera novela, A Song For a New Day, una novela postapocalíptica que tiene lugar después de una pandemia tras la que el gobierno ha prohibido las reuniones públicas, se publicó en 2019.
