Patricia A. McKillip

Empezó a escribir a los catorce años por puro aburrimiento y, desde entonces, no paró más que cuando pensó en ser pianista profesional. Se licenció en Lengua y Literatura Inglesa y vivió en San Francisco, Nueva York, Roxbury y en Oregón.
Ganó en varias ocasiones el Mythopoeic Fantasy Award, el World Fantasy Award y en 1980 ganó un premio Locus.
