A. C. Crispin
Stamford, Estados Unidos, 1950 — 2013.
Estudió Literatura Inglesa en la universidad, graduándose en 1972, y en 1983 consiguió convertirse en escritora a tiempo completo. Junto a Victoria Strauss, en 1998 Crispin creó el “scam watchdog” committee, Writer Beware, en la SFWA, cuyo propósito es avisar a los escritores noveles sobre agentes estafadores y editoriales fraudulentas. También ha sido profesora de escritura creativa.
En 2004 ganó el Premio Service to SFWA junto a su marido Michael Capobianco.
