A. M. Dellamonica

Calgary (Alberta), Canadá, 1968.

A. M. Dellamonica escribe desde los años 90, especializándose en relatos de fantasía. Asimismo, publica narrativa de ciencia ficción bajo el pseudónimo de Lex Beckett o L. X. Beckett. Asistió al taller de Clarion West en 1997 y es conocide por A Key to the Illuminated Heretic, una historia alternativa sobre Juana de Arco, y por la saga The Hidden Sea Tales, donde la protagonista se convierte en una pirata en un universo alternativo; la primera novela fue ganadora del Premio Aurora.

Recibió una beca del Canada Council for the Arts para artistas emergentes en 2005 y en 2015 una beca del Ontario Arts Council para obras de escritura en proceso. Actualmente ejerce como docente de escritura creativa en línea en la UCLA y en persona en la UTSC. También reseña novelas de ciencia ficción en revistas como Tor.com o Clarkesworld.
